- These are a straight replacement of your existing steel unit and bolt in the same way with the same hardware.

- The battery tray in steel weighs 273.98 where the FLASH Alloy piece weighs in at 106.69, a weight saving of 167.29 grams.

- You may have noticed that there are several 'sizes' of batteries available. We tried 7 different batteries and only 5 brands were 'nearly' the same. So, these battery trays should just about fit NEARLY every battery available for karting.

- We also eliminated the 90 degree sides/welded corners. At least they can now accept just about ALL batteries. The sides have a 3 degree taper.

- The INTERNAL dimensions of the tray are; 151.5mm long (at the top) x 65.5mm wide (at the top). All 4 sides are 32.9mm high

- 2 pieces of rubber in the base for the battery to snuggle against.

- These are also made from #5056 Alloy, which is a lot more forgiving during usage.

- The 3 FLASH Alloy pieces (#550-#551-#552) in the standard style from the factory weigh 449.85. The 3 FLASH Alloy units weight 196.36. That is a combined saving of 253.49grams.
