These are the NEWER style of lock nut with a Metal Ring around the top instead of the Nylon Ring that was used for ever....and use to wear and/or pop out.

These new style have a Metal Lock ring on top that holds pressure down ward on the thread holding them in place and LASTING much longer.

Also, a NON Serrated flange so it does NOT dig into your job.

These are in #304 Stainless Steel for durability.
